10 Places that my kids remember, with huge happiness, in the Maasai Mara, Kenya

In my experience, kids love to be removed from their comfort-zone, just for a little bit, to spend time with their treasured family; bonding as a family unit, chatting & giggling, learning & discovering, absorbing & acquiring incredible memories, meeting interesting people & making friends … as a family.

Our family has been ever so lucky to visit countless lodges in the Mara and now our little people have a chance to share the Top 10 places that left them with something incredible to remember.

🖤Asilia Mara Bush House – Spending private family time, being able to make as much noise as we liked in the Asilia Mara Bush House for Grandpa’s birthday.

🖤Hammerkop Camp – Playing board games by the river at Hammerkop camp .. Zia remembers beating me? Hmmmmm ….

🖤Emboo Camp – Swimming in the delicious swimming pool, next to the river whilst watching a family of hippos chilling!

🖤House in the Wild – Walking with the rhinos 

🖤Maji Moto – Beading and dancing and chatting with the Maasai

🖤Enkewa Camp– Climbing up the gorge with the amazing Maasai & fishing

🖤Intrepids –  Billy & Zia loved, loved, loved it here …. The people were amazing with kids and the food was perfectly catered for kids!

🖤Offbeat Mara –  Jumping up and down with the Maasai whilst on a sundowner & kids supper

🖤Entumoto –  Having a surprise sundowner & kids supper on a rock with their grandparents

🖤Instinct of the Mara –  Getting water bottles with their names spelt ‘Mbili’ and ‘Nzia, at …. which mean ‘two way’ in Swahili! The walk and bush breakfast here was one of the BEST ever also!
